Adults

Because of his previous experience, Tim came to learn chronic mental illness in its many forms. He has vast experience diagnosing problems ranging from adjustment and change of life issues, to depression and anxiety, to the more serious issues of bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. He has worked extensively with local physicians and psychiatrists in the treatment of these problems if medications are indicated.

In his private practice Tim has helped adult clients work through issues ranging from grieving and loss, physical and sexual abuse, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), change of life issues, personality disorders, relationship issues, and even the threat of suicide. He has a wealth of experience in leading clients through the most difficult times and issues and does so in a professional yet personal way.

Tim spent 16 months overseas in support the United States Military.  He served as an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Counselor along with a handful of other counselors.  They provided counseling support for the 16,000 employees of an international construction company located in Iraq. Some of the services he provided include: personal, familial, relationship, work-related, and a number of other psychiatric issues. With the threat of attacks being an ever-present reality, PTSD, anxiety disorders, anger issues and compulsions were seen regularly. Tim was commended for his work, expertise, and perseverance in helping others while overseas. Tim currently volunteers time each month to counsel servicemen/servicewomen and their families.
